The Opportunity:
We are seeking an exceptional leader to serve as COO, Dealing, with full operational and strategic ownership of our global Dealing team.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the performance, scalability, and strategic execution of the Dealing function, which includes traders, quants, analysts, and supporting roles across multiple regions.
You will act as the operational and strategic owner of the Dealing organization, partnering closely with the Head of Dealing and executive leadership to scale the business, strengthen organizational capabilities, and ensure best-in-class execution in a high-performance trading environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the overall performance, operating model, and organizational effectiveness of the global Dealing function
- Define and continuously strengthen the operational framework, governance, and structure to support a scalable, high-performance trading organization
- Drive strategic planning, business growth, and operational scaling in alignment with group priorities and long-term business objectives
- Represent the Dealing function at the executive level and lead execution of key strategic and organizational initiatives
- Establish and enforce strong operating discipline, including performance management, decision-making frameworks, and continuous organizational improvement
Qualifications:
- 1015+ years of experience in financial services, preferably within investment banks, brokerage firms, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, or cryptocurrency exchanges
- Proven leadership experience in COO, Business Management, Trading Operations, or equivalent senior roles supporting front-office trading or markets organizations
- Demonstrated track record partnering with senior business leaders (e.g., Head of Trading, Head of Markets) to drive business strategy, execution, and organizational scaling
- Strong understanding of trading environments and brokerage operations, with experience supporting or managing multi-asset trading businesses (e.g., CFDs, FX, derivatives, equities, futures, or digital assets)
- Proven ability to lead, scale, and develop high-performing teams within fast-paced, performance-driven trading environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences
- Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred, due to collaboration with Mandarin-speaking teams and regional stakeholders
- Regional travel is expected (20%) to support the global team
