DCS Technician (12 hours shift) | Oil & Gas MNC | Jurong Island

Jobscope:

• Support for the Operational readiness of the new plant (including walkdowns & punch listing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities, preparing SOPs & routine schedules etc.)
• To manage operations to ensure it is maintained safe, reliable, and efficient.
• The operations are to achieve key performance indicators (KPI's) and annual plan objectives.
• Accountable for:-
  • Compliance with safety, health, environmental, quality and relevant industry standards.
  • Safe, efficient, and reliable operation of assets
  • Investigating and trouble-shooting process issues and outages
  • Support process improvement, productivity and reliability projects
  • Planning, supervision, and execution of operation activities
  • Compliance to all Procedures, Routines, Logs and other Operational Processes
  • Planning and executing TAR operational activities

• Diploma or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology or related discipline
• Minimum 5-10 years of operational experience in a chemical / petrochemical industry
• DCS / Boardman experience is required
• Conversant in MS Office and Distributed Control System (DCS)
• Experience in pre-commissioning / commissioning / new plant start up activities is an advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work well in a team.
• Willing to work on 12-hours rotating shift
