We are looking for a hands-on DBA to support mission-critical 24/7 systems in a secure environment.
This role focuses on production stability, high availability, performance tuning, and incident management across SQL Server and MongoDB platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for MSSQL and MongoDB in Production and DR environments
- Troubleshoot incidents, outages, failovers, and performance issues
- Manage high availability setups (SQL Always On, MongoDB Replica Sets)
- Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery validation
- Optimize queries, indexing, and database performance
- Support deployment, data migration, and release activities
- Ensure security, access control, and compliance in regulated environments
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of DBA experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:Microsoft SQL Server (Always On, performance tuning)MongoDB (replica sets, backup/restore)
- Experience supporting 24/7 production systems and critical incidents
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in Singapore Government or regulated environments
- Exposure to Kafka, APIs, ETL, or microservices architectures
- Familiarity with ITIL / structured incident management processes
