Job Summary
Manage daily waste collection operations by coordinating drivers and crews, monitoring routes, investigating incidents, and ensuring resource availability to maintain efficient and compliant logistics services.
Responsibilities
- Resolve daily collection incidents and address driver feedback by monitoring GPS data and confirming route completion with respective Function Executive
- Assign and adjust routes, including ad-hoc collection trips during resource shortages to maintain service continuity
- Manage driver and crew schedules including rest days, shift changes, annual and medical leave to ensure adequate route coverage
- Update route sheets based on SNF issuances to maintain accurate operational documentation
- Prepare and generate ESO reports for scheduled collection trips to support operational planning
- Conduct monthly physical inspections of assigned trucks to ensure vehicle readiness and compliance
- Perform twice-weekly ground checks on operational routes to verify service quality and adherence to schedules
- Investigate vehicular and property accidents objectively and prepare detailed reports for internal circulation
- Attend to and resolve CRM cases daily to maintain customer satisfaction and operational transparency
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess a Class 3 and/or Class 4 driving license
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Completed GCE O level or Diploma in any discipline with at least 2 years experience in Logistics or Operations Management
- Proficient in MS Office applications to support operational reporting and communication
- Demonstrated planning, organizing, and administrative skills to manage logistics workflows effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to comprehend systems and process flows for accurate operations
- Customer service orientation with effective communication
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities autonomously
- Willingness to commit to rotating weekend, public holiday duties, and early deployment shifts starting as early as 6:30 am
