Datacenter Technician

About the Role

• Provides 1st level technical support, manages escalated support cases and leads appropriate internal technical resources and/or 3rd party vendors to resolution.
• Assist with server operating system and application upgrades, bug fixes, and patching.
• Troubleshoot basic switch issues and replace switches.
• Perform replacements of failed components such as hard drives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in datacentre environment
• Strong troubleshooting experience in Network, storage, server and software applications.
• Cabling knowledge in data center will be an advantage.
• Looking for someone who can start work on an immediate basis and is open for a contract role.
