Datacenter Operations Specialist

Scope of Services:

Facilities & Hardware Operations

Rack/stack of servers, storage, network gear; cabling and label hygiene.

IMACD (Install/Move/Add/Change/Decommission) activities.

RMA handling and vendor coordination; spares logistics.

Environmental checks (power, cooling, space), visual inspections, and DCIM updates.

Run Operations & Hands and Eyes

Power cycle, console access, media swaps, escorting vendors.

Onsite support for change windows; emergency response support.

Connecting and removal of cables

Physical audits (asset inventory, cage/rack reconciliation).

Process & Documentation

Maintain SOPs, update runbooks and topology/port maps at the DC.

Incident, change, and problem records per Client's ITSM process
