Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our Databricks POC initiative on AWS. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and ensure successful delivery of our data platform proof-of-concept within budget and scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for Databricks POC implementation
- Coordinate between technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors
- Manage project timeline, budget, and resource allocation
- Facilitate requirements gathering and stakeholder alignment sessions
- Track POC success metrics and deliverables
- Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies
- Ensure compliance with organisational governance and security standards
- Prepare executive reports and present POC outcomes to leadership
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of project management experience, preferably in data/cloud initiatives with Databricks involvement
- Experience managing technical projects involving AWS or cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and terminology
- PMP or Agile certification preferred
- Proven track record of delivering POCs or pilot projects on time and budget
