Database Administrator - TK

Job Responsibilities and Skills:

• Install and maintain the performance of database servers.

• Develop processes for optimizing database security.

• Set and maintain database standards.

• Performance tuning of database systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.

• Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards

• Perform installation, patching, upgrading, troubleshooting for the database and database infrastructure

• Support and perform database account management and periodic user account review

• Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.

• Provide production database support be available for on-call support as needed.

• Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

• Two to three years of experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field

• Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments

• Extensive experience with database technologies (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with cloud services (Microsoft Azure) a plus
