Database Administrator (DBA)

Core Competencies:

• Strong expertise in Oracle, MS-SQL, and MySQL database administration supporting large-scale database environments.
• Proficient in database installation, configuration, and management on UNIX (Solaris & AIX), Linux, and Windows platforms.
• Experienced in High Availability (HA) setups using:

• Oracle RAC / Data Gua SQL Server Failover Cluster / AlwaysOn Availability Groups MySQLInnoDB Cluster / NDB Cluster

• Skilled in database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and identifying bottlenecks at both server and database levels.
• Hands-on experience with database upgrades, migrations, and replication using Oracle GoldenGate / Shareplex.
• Knowledgeable in database partitioning, TDE encryption, and implementing security roles and responsibilities to protect critical environments.
• Well-versed in database internals, optimizer changes, and resolving production issues efficiently.
• Comprehensive experience in administrative tasks, including Planning and provisioning new database serversASM disk management

• Backup and restore operations

• Capacity planning

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in production database administration supporting Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL databases.
• Proficient in Unix shell scripting and Oracle PL/SQL programming.
