Database Administrator
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing and maintaining at least one enterprise-level database system. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in the following areas:

(a) Microsoft SQL Server

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance
• SQL Server Always On Availability Groups
• T-SQL programming and query optimisation
• SQL Server Management Studio and related tools

(b) PostgreSQL

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Replication and high-availability solutions
• PL/pgSQL programming and query optimisation
• pgAdmin and other PostgreSQL management tools

(c) Backup & Recovery

• Implementing and managing backup strategies across databases
• Point-in-time recovery and disaster recovery planning

(d) Security & Access Control

• Implementation and management of database security measures
• User access management and auditing

(e) Performance Monitoring & Tuning

• Using monitoring tools to track performance
• Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks

(f) Capacity Planning

• Database capacity planning and resource allocation
• Forecasting storage and performance requirements

(g) High Availability & Disaster Recovery

• Implementation and management of HA solutions for supported databases
• Setting up and testing disaster recovery procedures

(h) Automation & Scripting

• Scripting for database administration tasks (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Experience with database automation tools

(i) Certifications (Mandatory)

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate
