About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled, strategic, and analytical Data Scientist to join a high-performing Business Messaging Support team and drive impactful data initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous environments, can independently manage and deliver complex cross-functional projects, and is passionate about leveraging data to inform business strategy and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Data-Driven Strategy:

• Drive the development and execution of data science strategies that influence key business decisions and operational improvements at scale.

• Advanced Analytics & Modeling:

• Design, build, and deploy advanced analytical models and prototypes to extract actionable insights from large, complex datasets using SQL, Tableau, Hive, Presto, and other Big Data tools.

• Mentorship & Collaboration:

• Mentor data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

• Stakeholder Engagement:

• Effectively communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.

• Reporting & Visualization:

• Architect and maintain robust reporting systems, dashboards, and metrics that enable the Business Messaging Support organization to scale and operate efficiently.

• Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement, driving the adoption of best practices in data science and analytics.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience providing operations support in a technical environment with a strong understanding of operational metrics and KPIs.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including creating, optimizing, and maintaining complex queries.

• Experience with Big Data tools such as Tableau, Hive, Presto, and R/Python.

• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations.

• Strong understanding of reporting systems, data pipeline architecture, and data visualization best practices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong experience leveraging AI tools and adapting quickly to new AI technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Customer Operations, Scaled Services, or similar domains.

• Proven experience extracting, processing, and analyzing data from large and complex databases.

• Track record of driving measurable business impact through data science initiatives.

• Python experience for data pipelining.

• Project management experience and understanding of operational processes, metrics, and challenges.
