Data Scientist Lead (Industrial AI)

As a Data Scientist Lead (Industrial AI), you will act as a technology steward driving the strategy, design, and deployment of Industrial AI solutions that power national-scale infrastructure. You will bridge complex business needs and advanced AI capabilities, leading high-impact predictive and prescriptive analytics initiatives while ensuring models meet the rigor required for mission-critical production environments.

What will you do

AI Consulting & Business Engagement

• Engage business and senior stakeholders to deeply understand problem statements and operational challenges.
• Translate business needs into well-defined AI use cases with clear value propositions and measurable outcomes.

Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics Delivery

• Design, architect, and oversee deployment of predictive and prescriptive AI/ML solutions.
• Lead implementations across both cloud-based and on-premise environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Technical Leadership & Governance

• Conduct deep technical peer reviews of complex AI models and solutions.
• Ensure robustness, explainability, and production readiness of models used in high-stakes environments.
• Provide technical stewardship and guidance to senior data scientists and engineers.
  
  

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 12+ years of experience in Data Science with a proven track record of building and deploying production-grade Industrial AI solutions
• Prior experience in AI consulting or advisory roles
• Deep expertise in predictive and prescriptive analytics across cloud-based and on-premise environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior and C-suite stakeholders
• Experience working with Industrial or Financial Services (FSI) sectors
• Education: PhD with relevant research experience (preferred)
