About the Role
We are seeking a Data Scientist to support data-driven initiatives in a project-based environment. You will be responsible for analysing data, developing predictive models, and translating insights into actionable recommendations to support business and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models
- Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions
Design and implement data pipelines and workflows - Visualise and present findings using dashboards or reports
- Monitor model performance and recommend improvements
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data governance standards
Job Requirements
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- At least 2-5 years of relevant experience in data science or analytics
- Proficiency in Python (e.g. Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL
- Experience with machine learning techniques and statistical modelling
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to present insights to stakeholders
Good to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of big data tools (e.g. Hadoop, Spark)
- Experience in deploying machine learning models into production
- Exposure to MLOps practices
