Role - GenAI Engineer (Financial Services)
We are seeking an experienced AI / GenAI Engineer to design, develop and deploy AI-driven solutions across financial services domains. The role involves building advanced AI, GenAI and Agentic AI capabilities, from model development to production deployment and monitoring.
This is a 12 months renewable contract role with NTT DATA.
Work location : Singapore
Key Responsibilities
- Develop AI / GenAI / Agentic AI programs based on prescribed specifications
- Build and maintain AI-driven automation, predictive analytics and intelligent agent solutions
- Assess stakeholder requirements and propose tactical and strategic AI solutions
- Identify opportunities to implement agentic solutions to automate manual and repetitive tasks
- Design and deploy production-grade ML models (forecasting, NLP, anomaly detection, etc.)
- Enhance LLM capabilities using RAG systems, vector databases and prompt engineering
- Build domain-specific agents and small language models derived from LLMs
- Troubleshoot AI/GenAI issues and implement timely fixes
- Create monitoring dashboards to strengthen model observability and performance tracking
- Document solutions, issues and resolutions for knowledge sharing and governance
- Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and recommend improvements
- Ensure secure API integration and compliance with security protocols
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience delivering AI/ML projects in production (model development, MLOps, monitoring, business integration)
- Proven experience in financial services (Treasury, Capital Markets, Financial Markets) with knowledge of products, workflows and risk frameworks
- Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark
- Experience with cloud ML platforms and production deployment
- Hands-on experience with GenAI and Agentic AI frameworks
- Familiarity with LLM orchestration, RAG architecture, vector databases and prompt engineering
- Experience building dashboards using Tableau, QlikView or Power BI
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, integration patterns and security protocols
- Comfortable working in Unix and Windows environments
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related quantitative field
- Strong communication skills with ability to thrive in a global, matrixed environment
