Data Production Engineer (Production Support)

Role Overview

Keyrus is supporting a leading international private banking platform and is hiring a Data Production Engineer to ensure the stability and reliability of critical Data production systems.

This is a 100% RUN-focused role, centered on production support, incident management, and data flow reliability in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for Data applications and pipelines
• Investigate and resolve incidents (batch, pipelines, platform performance)
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive corrective actions
• Monitor end-to-end data processing (batch & streaming)
• Improve monitoring and reduce recurring production issues
• Coordinate with DBA, Middleware, and Data Engineering teams
• Ensure SLA adherence and proper documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years in Production Support / RUN roles within Data environments
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management experience
• Experience supporting batch and/or streaming data architectures
• Working knowledge of ETL tools (e.g., DataStage, Qlik)
• Familiarity with databases (DB2, MSSQL, Oracle)
• Understanding of Kafka concepts (topics, producers/consumers)
• Comfortable working in mission-critical environments with on-call rotation
• Banking / Financial Services experience is a plus
