We are looking for a talented Data Product Owner with a Supply Chain background, strong analytical thinking, and hands-on Agile experience to support the delivery of Data and AI-powered Supply Chain Data Products across the Planning, Logistics and Quality domains. This role sits within our Digital Technology (DT) organisation and partners closely with Global Supply Chain business users and the DT Product Owners to bring data-driven, insight-rich products to life.
How You Will Make a Difference
What you will do:
Support End-to-End Product Ownership
- Contribute to the full lifecycle of Data and AI data product(s) in your scope across Planning, Logistics and Quality: shaping requirements, supporting design, coordinating development, testing, release and continuous improvement.
- Maintain and refine the product backlog in alignment with the Supply Chain Data Product roadmap owned by the Senior Data Product Owner.
Product Roadmap and Strategy
- Translate business needs and user feedback into clear use cases, supporting the Senior Data Product Owner in shaping the product vision and roadmap.
- Assist in developing product concepts, value assessments and prioritisation proposals.
Product Design
- Partner with business users and technical teams to co-design solutions that offer a good end-to-end user experience across interfaces, dashboards and AI-driven features.
- Help document business rules, data definitions and acceptance criteria.
Product Development
- Collaborate within an Agile team framework and actively participate in sprint ceremonies.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Analysts, Data Engineers and Architects to ensure alignment on features, dependencies and delivery timelines.
Benefits Realisation and Product Performance
- Support the monitoring of product KPIs and release-specific success metrics.
- Work with business COE teams to support user adoption and a smooth experience of delivered features.
Data Governance and Quality
- Ensure requirements and features align with VF's data governance policies, business definition standards and AI ethics standards.
- Assist in monitoring data integrity and raise issues proactively for remediation.
Product Management and Partnership
- Communicate progress, risks, dependencies and value outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
- Support planning of product releases and help coordinate expectations for upcoming features.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to support delivery quality and performance.
How you will do it:
- Engage with Planning, Logistics and Quality business users to gather product needs and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Connect roadmap priorities to incremental product development and ensure transparency in backlog prioritisation.
- Help define metrics that measure value from data and AI-driven capabilities once released.
- Serve as a bridge between technical teams (engineering, data science, architecture, testing) and business teams.
- Validate product/feature outcomes by grounding decisions in user needs, business impact and data insights.
- Foster an organised, collaborative and Agile delivery rhythm within the team.
What success looks like:
- You gain a solid understanding of your product domain(s), users and the digital opportunities within Global Supply Chain, contributing meaningfully to the Data Product roadmap.
- You help ship reliable, trusted and well-adopted Data and AI products that strengthen VF's Data & Analytics transformation.
- Stakeholders view you as a dependable partner who brings clarity, structure and thoughtful recommendations.
- You build strong working relationships with business stakeholders, global digital teams and delivery partners.
- Product delivery becomes more efficient through well-groomed backlogs, clear documentation and smoother sprint execution.
