What The Role Is
The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime. As a Data Policy Project Officer, you play an important role in developing clear and robust policies for proper data governance, and a safe and secure data sharing processes for SPF. If you are up for the challenge and has interest in data governance and data sharing, we welcome you to be part of our team at the Ops-Technology Department (OTD).

What You Will Be Working On
As a Data Policy Project Officer and be responsible for data policy formulation and development, project management as well as facilitating data sharing requests between SPF and the other government agencies. You will be trained to formulate policies and perform project management as well as to process data sharing requests.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a proactive and dynamic individual to be part of our Data Policy Division. We're seeking a talented individual who has:
- Strong Analytical Skills: The ability to think critically and make sense of complex data to facilitate decision-making.
- Good Time Management: The skill to prioritize competing tasks, manage stress, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to planning and analysis, with the ability to identify key issues and present clear solutions.
- Effective Communication: The ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, both in writing and in person.
- Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) and basic computer knowledge for day-to-day communication and data driven operations.
- Relevant Experience: While not essential, prior experience in data governance or project management will be an added advantage.
