Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Platform Engineer to join our team on a 24-months contract basis, where you will be instrumental in building and optimizing our data infrastructure in cloud. Job Responsibilities

. Design and implement robust data architectures, pipelines, and ETL processes.

. Build and maintain cloud-native data platforms and dashboards to support analytics and reporting needs.

. Ensure high standards of data quality, reliability, and availability across all systems.

. Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and operations.

. Partner with business units, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

. Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost-efficiency.

. Provide Level 3 support for in-house applications and data platform/warehouse operations.

Job Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

. 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.

. Proven expertise in building and managing data platforms on cloud environments.

. Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and other relevant languages.

. Hands-on experience with cloud services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Kafka, and Pub/Sub is highly advantageous.

. Experience with IaC tools and CI/CD practices.

. Familiarity with API development using Apigee, integration with Drupal-based developer portals, and monetization models is a strong plus.

. Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
