Data Operations & Analytics Manager
We are looking for a Data Operations & Analytics Manager to support the data ecosystem. This role will oversee data operations, ensure data quality, and partner with investment and technology teams to enhance enterprise data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end data operational activities within the Total Portfolio data space, including monitoring, analysing, and resolving operational incidents.
- Ensure data integrity and quality by defining quality metrics and managing data exceptions.
- Partner with investment teams, risk analysts, front office, and technology teams to understand business needs and deliver data solutions.
- Analyse requests for new data and collaborate with Data Engineers to implement and support scalable data solutions.
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of data platforms, particularly around Total Portfolio IBOR, exposure, and analytics.
- Plan and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) for system and data changes.
- Strengthen data governance, operational workflows, and documentation.
- Manage relationships with internal and external data providers and vendors.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce operational risk, and enhance controls.
Requirements
- Degree holder with 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years in data management, data analytics, or data operations within investment or banking industries.
- Solid understanding of data management principles, data modelling, and data integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with SDLC and/or Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, data warehouses, and data visualisation tools.
- Experience with enterprise databases (MS SQL, Snowflake, PostgreSQL) and data integration tools such as Informatica is advantageous.
