A leading financial institution is strengthening its data product delivery team, and we're looking for an experienced Data Modeler who can help build reliable data foundations for finance reporting and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Build and refine data models that support finance reporting, with a focus on FUM and revenue allocation.
- Map data from source systems into a finance data mart, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Translate business needs into practical data solutions in close partnership with finance and tech teams.
- Produce clear documentation for data flows, mappings, and modelling logic.
- Support validation and reconciliation activities to keep reporting reliable.
- Look for ways to improve and optimise existing models and processes.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Data Modeler in the asset management space.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, FUM reporting, and revenue allocation.
- Hands-on skills in data modelling tools and source-to-target mapping.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate well with both business and technical teams.
- Comfortable working in an agile, cross-functional setup.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and finance data marts.
Nice to have:
- Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
- Certifications in data modelling or asset management fields.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure or Databricks.
This is a contract role based in Singapore.
