Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Migration / Conversion Lead to lead data conversion activities across assigned data types within healthcare projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating data migration activities, including data extraction, mapping, analysis, conversion, testing, loading, and go-live support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data migration and conversion activities for assigned data types in accordance with the client's data migration/conversion methodology.
- Assist in developing and maintaining data migration/conversion project plans.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of data migration activities.
- Manage data extraction, mapping, analysis, conversion, validation, testing, and loading activities.
- Track project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor and report project progress, risks, issues, and status to relevant stakeholders.
- Support go-live activities and provide timely investigation and resolution of data migration-related issues.
- Manage and coordinate multiple data migration/conversion projects concurrently.
- Ensure project activities comply with agreed processes, standards, and quality requirements.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in data migration, data conversion, or system implementation projects.
- Broad and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare domain.
- Experience with system integration and interfacing, including HL7, SFTP, and DICOM.
- Good knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and analyse complex business and workflow scenarios.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, positive, and a good team player.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in healthcare data migration or conversion projects.
- Experience supporting system go-live and post-go-live activities.
- Knowledge of data mapping, validation, testing, and data quality processes.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
