Data Migration Analyst - Contract

Role Overview

As a Data Migration Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing the organization and designing its processes and systems. You will assess the business model and its integration with technology, gather and synthesize information, and identify customer requirements. You will define the future state and/or business solution, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) while collaborating and managing the team to deliver results and make informed team decisions.

You will engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems for both your immediate team and across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Process Analysis

. Analyze organizational structure and design aligned business processes and systems.

. Assess the business model and its integration with technology platforms.

. Gather, synthesize, and document information to identify customer and stakeholder requirements.

. Define the future-state architecture and/or end-to-end business solution.

2. Team Leadership & Collaboration

. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and guide the migration team on best practices.

. Collaborate with and manage cross-functional team members to drive performance.

. Contribute to key decisions and engage with multiple internal and external teams.

. Provide practical solutions to problems for your immediate team and across team boundaries.

3. Data Migration Execution

. Lead data migration planning including source-to-target mapping, data cleansing, and validation.

. Write and maintain SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

. Perform basic SAP debugging and system analysis to support data migration workstreams.

. Ensure data integrity, quality, and traceability throughout the migration lifecycle.

Requirements :

1. Data Migration & Conversion

Hands-on experience planning, executing, and validating data migration and conversion projects across enterprise systems.

2. SQL Scripting

Strong proficiency in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

3. Basic SAP Debugging

Ability to trace, debug, and interpret SAP system behaviour to support data migration activities and resolve data issues.

4. Business Process Analysis Tools

Proficiency in tools used for documenting, modelling, and analysing business processes (e.g. Visio, Signavio, ARIS).

5. Business Model Strategy

Understanding of strategic business modelling frameworks to align migration outcomes with organisational goals.

6. Business Process Design

Ability to design, re-engineer, and optimise business processes in the context of system transitions.

7. Requirements Analysis

Skilled in eliciting, documenting, and validating functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders.

. Healthcare Industry Knowledge - familiarity with healthcare data standards, workflows, and compliance requirements.

. Stakeholder Management - demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with business owners, technical teams, and senior leadership.
