Define Market Positioning Frameworks: Develop and maintain the analytical Single Source of Truth (SSOT) for market competitiveness, creating sophisticated models to evaluate company performance against broader market benchmarks.
Hands-on Technical Execution: As a Player-Coach, you will be expected to dive deep into the data yourself, writing complex queries, building initial model prototypes, and troubleshooting data pipelines alongside your team.
Optimize Data Acquisition Intelligence: Architect automated systems to prioritize high-value data signals. Use historical trends to ensure data collection is resource-efficient and focused on high-impact segments.
Drive Inventory Intelligence: Lead initiatives to improve product comparability. Use statistical modeling and benchmarking to identify inventory gaps and provide actionable insights to supply teams.
Lead Advanced Experimentation: Design and execute a high-frequency testing roadmap. Use A/B testing and simulation to validate new pricing features and logic, ensuring growth doesn't compromise unit economics.
Analyze Margin Leakage: Develop diagnostic tools to identify and mitigate revenue-erosion drivers, ensuring price adjustments are optimized for long-term net revenue health.
Job Requirements
5+ years of experience in Data, Pricing, or Revenue Management, with at least 2 years in a leadership/people-management role.
Strong Hands-On Persona: You are a practitioner at heart. You are as comfortable in a high-level stakeholder meeting as you are debugging a Python script or optimizing a SQL query.
Expert Technical Stack: Professional-level command of SQL and Python is mandatory. Experience with large-scale data scraping architecture and cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) is highly preferred.
Experimentation Rigor: Proven track record of personally designing and executing A/B tests and simulations to validate business hypotheses.
Business Acumen: Deep understanding of Net Revenue (NR) margins, conversion funnels, and the competitive landscape of the travel/accommodation industry.
Data Visualization: Ability to personally build and maintain actionable stakeholder dashboards (Tableau, Looker, or similar).
Operational Excellence: Ability to identify why data gaps occur and implement automated fixes to reduce manual operational overhead.
