Data Management Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Data Management Intern to support our data quality, analysis, and process improvement initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to real operational data, data visualization, and automation tools within a business environment.

You will work closely with the supervisor to ensure data accuracy, generate useful insights, and improve internal data workflows.

Job Scope

• Data Cleaning & Management: Assist in cleaning and validating customer, supplier, and inventory master data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

• Data Analysis & Insights: Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support operational and business decision-making.

• Data Visualization & Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to help users monitor key information (knowledge of Power BI is an advantage).

• Process Improvement & Automation: Review existing data management processes and propose improvements, including using Microsoft tools such as Microsoft Lists, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

• Communication & Support: Present insights using data storytelling techniques and assist the supervisor with ad-hoc data analysis, reporting, and related tasks.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis concepts.

• Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools is an advantage.

• Interest in data management, analytics, and process improvement.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, or Microsoft Lists) is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with guidance from a supervisor.
