An IT solutions consultancy is looking for an experienced Data Governance Specialist to join their team.
Your new role
- Draft, maintain, and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
- Collaborate with business units to assess practices, identify gaps, and support policy adoption.
- Establish a governance framework ensuring consistent data handling, access control, and regulatory compliance.
- Facilitate communication, training, and documentation to promote governance awareness and support internal/external audits.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Information Systems
- Over 3 years of experience in data governance, compliance, and information management.
- Strong grasp of governance frameworks, with familiarity in ISO/IEC 27001 and DAMA-DMBOK.
- Skilled in documentation, policy writing, and audit preparation with excellent communication abilities.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration across diverse business units.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations experience with cloud platforms and fast-paced environments preferred.
