Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Data entry: Input financial information from invoices, receipts, and purchase orders into accounting systems with accuracy.

  • Data validation: Check and verify entries, resolving any discrepancies or errors found.

  • Account support: Update general ledger entries and assist in reconciling accounts, including AP and AR.

  • Record management: Maintain well-organized digital and physical records for audits and reporting.

  • Reporting: Support the preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports and summaries.

  • Team collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to resolve data issues and uphold data accuracy.

  • Filing: Ensure proper filing and organization of all records.

  • Additional tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Technical skills:

    • Proficient in data entry and accounting software (e.g., Sage).

    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

    • Basic knowledge of accounting concepts (debits, credits, general ledger).

  • Soft skills:

    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Strong organizational abilities.

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

    • Good numerical and analytical skills.
