Responsibilities
Data entry: Input financial information from invoices, receipts, and purchase orders into accounting systems with accuracy.
Data validation: Check and verify entries, resolving any discrepancies or errors found.
Account support: Update general ledger entries and assist in reconciling accounts, including AP and AR.
Record management: Maintain well-organized digital and physical records for audits and reporting.
Reporting: Support the preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports and summaries.
Team collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to resolve data issues and uphold data accuracy.
Filing: Ensure proper filing and organization of all records.
Additional tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Technical skills:
Proficient in data entry and accounting software (e.g., Sage).
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Basic knowledge of accounting concepts (debits, credits, general ledger).
Soft skills:
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
