Role Overview:
We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and APIs to support data-driven products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate and manage data across multiple platforms, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy data tables, views, and marts across warehouses, lakes, and virtualization platforms.
- Build, optimize, and maintain batch and real-time ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Extract, clean, transform, and integrate data from diverse sources, including web scraping.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and architects to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.
- Support backend API development and database operations in an Agile environment.
Requirements:
- Strong skills in data transformation and cleaning (SQL, Python, R, pandas).
- Experience building ETL pipelines using tools like SSIS, AWS DMS, Glue, Lambda, or Spring.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
- Familiarity with APIs, web scraping tools (BeautifulSoup, Selenium, NodeJS), and data storage concepts (Data Mart, Data Lake, Data Warehouse).
- Comfortable with scripting, Linux/Windows environments, and agile workflows.
- Understanding of data governance, security best practices, and system design.
