Job Summary
You will develop and optimize analytics-ready datasets and data pipelines using Databricks and Delta Live Tables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable self-service BI access and deliver actionable insights through robust data governance and validation.
Responsibilities
- Build analytics-ready datasets using Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) in Databricks to support data-driven decision-making
- Design and optimize Delta Live Tables (DLT) pipelines for efficient and reliable data processing
- Enable self-service data access by integrating BI tools such as Looker, Omni.co, Power BI, and Tableau
- Implement robust data validation and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability
- Maintain data governance by enforcing naming conventions and comprehensive documentation standards
- Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Operations teams to analyze data and drive actionable business insights
- Apply strong SQL and data modeling skills, including star schema and dimensional modeling, to structure data effectively
- Utilize Git and modern data stack practices to manage code and workflows efficiently
Required competencies and certifications
- Strong SQL and data modeling expertise (star schema, dimensional modeling)
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Delta Live Tables (DLT)
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Fivetran, and Airflow
- Experience with BI tools including Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or Omni.co
- Proficient communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across teams
- Proficiency with Git and modern data stack practices
