Job Description

Job Overview

We are looking for a Data Engineer / API Developer with strong experience in data engineering, analytics, and backend development. The ideal candidate will work on building scalable data solutions, developing RESTful APIs, and supporting data-driven applications in a cloud-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis and feasibility assessment
  • Build and integrate data platforms and services using API frameworks
  • Apply modern software design principles and contribute to technical architecture
  • Modify and enhance existing applications, including preparing test data and functional specifications
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Develop reusable APIs aligned with architecture guidelines
  • Write clean, maintainable, and object-oriented code
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or backend development
  • Strong expertise in SQL and data analysis
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Scala
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hive, Spark, Kafka
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and big data architectures
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and cloud-based data solutions
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
  • Experience developing and maintaining data warehouses

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to API frameworks and microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with modern data engineering tools and pipelines
  • Knowledge of data acquisition, processing, and management best practices
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
