We are looking for a sharp, autonomous Data Engineer (Asset Management/ Investment/Financial data) who understand financial, investment, and asset management datasets (e.g., Bloomberg feeds, corporate filings, market data) and possess the technical muscle to transform these requirements into production-ready AI tools.

about the job

• Design, code, and deploy end-to-end agentic tools and multi-agent systems to automate complex tasks (e.g., cross-platform productivity roll-ups tracking MS SharePoint activity, automated research workflows, and operational reporting).
• Independently design and build robust databases (utilizing AWS Redshift and the broader AWS ecosystem) tailored for financial market datasets.
• Take high-level business requirements from front, middle, and back-office stakeholders and translate them into technical execution without requiring extensive domain training.
• Partner closely with our dedicated IT and Data Infrastructure team based in India to ensure seamless deployment, scalability, and security.
• Build and automate ingestion processes for critical financial vendors like Capital IQ, FactSet, and Bloomberg, handling everything from corporate actions to market fundamentals.

skills and experience required
At least 4 years of working experience in Python and SQL skills with a proven track record of maintaining production-grade data pipelines.

Practical experience managing AWS infrastructure and cloud-native databases.

Prior experience in the investment or banking sector. Direct experience with Capital IQ and FactSet is a strict requirement for this role.
