Data Collections- ediscovery Specialist

Data Collections / eDiscovery Specialist | 6-12 Month Interim Contract

Elevate is partnering with a top Global Financial Firm to appoint an experienced Data Collections / eDiscovery Specialist to support investigations, litigation, regulatory, and compliance matters. This is a 6–12-month interim opportunity based in Singapore, operating on a hybrid model.

This role is suited to a hands-on eDiscovery professional with strong experience executing defensible data collections across Microsoft 365 and enterprise data environments. The successful candidate will work closely with Legal, Compliance, Investigations, Information Security, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure data is identified, preserved, collected, and transferred in a secure and defensible manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute collections of electronically stored information (ESI) from Exchange Online, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, network drives, file shares, and other enterprise repositories.
• Support preservation and legal activities across custodians and data sources.
• Manage data extraction, staging, transfer, processing, and ingestion workflows.
• Maintain chain of custody records and collection documentation.
• Ensure metadata integrity and evidentiary defensibility throughout the collection lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot collection issues and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external eDiscovery providers.
• Support investigations, litigation, regulatory inquiries, and internal reviews.
• Ensure secure handling and transfer of sensitive data.

Required Experience

• 5+ years experience in eDiscovery, Digital Forensics, Forensic Technology, Litigation Technology, or Data Collections.
• Hands-on experience conducting collections from Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Purview eDiscovery, Relativity/RelativityOne, and/or Nuix.
• Knowledge of legal hold, preservation, chain of custody, and evidence handling processes.
• Experience working with unstructured data and enterprise repositories.
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Financial services or banking sector experience.
• Experience with Cellebrite, EnCase, Magnet AXIOM, or similar forensic tools.
• Exposure to global investigations and cross-border data collection matters.
• Background with eDiscovery service providers, Big Four Forensic Technology teams, law firm litigation support groups, or corporate investigations functions.
