Job Summary
Manage and support daily data centre operations by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers, network equipment, and IT infrastructure to ensure stable and secure system performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily data centre operations, including servers, network equipment, and IT infrastructure to ensure continuous service availability
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, racks, cables, switches, and related hardware to support operational requirements
- Monitor data centre systems proactively to detect and resolve issues, minimizing downtime
- Troubleshoot hardware, network, and system-related problems to restore normal operations promptly
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and equipment checks to maintain optimal performance
- Maintain accurate documentation of equipment inventory, maintenance activities, and incident reports for audit and operational purposes
- Coordinate technical support and project implementation with vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and operational requirements in all data centre activities
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Relevant experience in data centre operations, IT infrastructure, server support, or network support
- Knowledge of servers, networking, hardware troubleshooting, and data centre equipment
- Ability to work independently and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to work overtime, standby, or shift duties as required
