Data Center Engineer

Data Center Engineer – Trading Infrastructure – Singapore

This is a hands-on role maintaining and optimizing the data center and exchange colocation environments behind a high performance trading platform. You'll own physical build-outs, cabling and hardware, and help shape regional infrastructure planning across APAC - not just keep systems running day to day.

What you'll be doing:

• Installing and cabling switches, servers and appliances across local and regional sites
• Coordinating smart hands and remote technicians across APAC data centers
• Managing power, space and capacity planning
• Performing break-fix repairs on hardware components (drives, memory, transceivers)
• Planning and executing build-outs, relocations and new colocation deployments
• Working closely with regional teams and vendors on equipment logistics and documentation

What we're looking for:

• Solid experience in large-scale, modern data center environments
• Ability to identify network hardware internals (SFPs, line cards, chassis) and server components
• Structured cabling knowledge across copper (Cat5/Cat6) and fiber (multi-mode/single-mode)
• Cable testing and troubleshooting experience
• Understanding of change control processes
• Basic server OS install and configuration skills
• Strong documentation habits
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, and travel across APAC sites
