Responsibilities
About the team The Datacenter Development team is responsible for site selection, acquisition and delivery. As the Data center Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following: Responsibilities: - Perform regular site inspections for ongoing construction of data centers, ensuring all projects are completed on time and with high quality standards based on the region's best practices. - Responsible in technical review for data center infrastructure construction methodology from DC Providers - Responsible in setting up construction best practices framework for optimization of resources in respective regions and enforcing the implementation on sites. - Maintain clear and consistent communications with internal stakeholders for projects update - Identify timeline and quality risk throughout the project life cycle. - Work closely with design, operation and other relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth handover process. - Support and participate in the site selection related tasks in the region. - Supports the EHS team in identifying key risks and ensuring DC Providers adhere to all safety regulations and protocols at site.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or equivalent with experience in a similar field. - Proven years of field experience in constructions, preferably good familiarity with construction methods, materials and regulations. - Able to lead and plan construction activities according to the best industry practices - Good computer literacy in Microsoft Office and able to work independently - Good team player and adaptable to highly dynamic environment Preferred Qualification: - Strong understanding of building codes, construction plans and good knowledge in various construction methodologies
