Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Technical Trainer to develop commissioning capability across APAC. This hands-on role focuses on training, mentoring, and assessing commissioning engineers on live mission‑critical projects, particularly data centers. The role bridges classroom learning and real project delivery, ensuring safe, consistent, and high‑quality commissioning practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on-the-job commissioning training across live project sites in APAC
- Mentor graduate, junior, and transitioning engineers during real commissioning activities
- Coach teams through functional testing, IST, FAT/SAT witnessing, and site safety practices
- Act as a technical role model across electrical, mechanical, and control systems
- Assess engineer competency, identify gaps, and provide structured feedback
- Reinforce commissioning standards, templates, and best practices
- Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement of training material
- Promote strong safety culture and alignment with client and regulatory requirements
Required Experience
- Background as a Commissioning Engineer or Manager in mission‑critical or complex MEP environments
- Strong hands-on commissioning experience on live sites
- Proven ability to mentor and explain complex systems clearly
- Comfortable working independently across multiple locations
- Willingness to travel extensively
