Data Center Administrator

Job Responsibilities

. Manage and maintain daily operations of the data center, including server hardware, storage, and network equipment.

. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime.

. Perform regular system health checks, patch management, and security updates.

. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software support and replacement.

. Ensure compliance with company IT policies, data security standards, and disaster recovery procedures.

. Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and maintenance logs.

. Provide technical support to internal teams and escalate issues when necessary.

Job Requirements

. Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

. Minimum 2 years experience in data center operations or system administration.

. Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and networking basics.

. Familiarity with backup solutions, monitoring tools, and data security best practices.

. Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

. Able to work in shifts (including nights, weekends, or public holidays if required).

. Team player with a proactive and responsible attitude.
