Responsibilities
About the Team The Datacenter Development team is responsible for site selection, acquisition and delivery. Our team is responsible for the end-to-end commercial activities of our data centers in the APAC region, spanning from early due diligence to operational support. As the DC acquisition manager, you will be responsible for the following: - Gather and evaluate market options, conduct investigations on key resources, devise strategies and eventually secure data center capacities to meet business demand. - Provide commercial aircover to our delivery team to ensure timely delivery of capacity to our businesses. - Work with cross-function colleagues, such as legal, tax, finance, GR, to make informed recommendations to senior management for data center investment, backed by our thorough investigation. - Provide commercial aircover to support operational-related needs. - Conduct rightsizing and optimization initiatives as and when required.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering - At least 4 years of relevant working experience in relevant field - Experience in industrial/commercial land development - Strong financial modeling and analytical skills - Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Willing to travel frequently on short notice Preferred Qualification - Prior experience in a similar role within the data centre industry
