We are seeking a highly motivated and inquisitive Data Engineering Intern to assist in the design, development, and maintenance of a new data warehouse on the AWS cloud platform. You will play a crucial role in building and optimizing data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with real-world data engineering challenges and contribute to the growth of a dynamic company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data needs.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools.
- Monitor and enhance reporting processes for continuous improvement.
- Monitor dashboard performance and troubleshoot data or reporting issues proactively.
- Document data flows, transformation logic, and dashboard configurations for version control and knowledge sharing.
- Assist in the design and development of the data warehouse architecture on AWS.
- Extract, transform, and load data from various sources (NetSuite, Salesforce, SharePoint, other SaaS & internal systems) into the data warehouse.
- Assist in the development of data quality checks and monitoring processes.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and principles.
- 1 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Knowledge in Python, AWS Glue and Step function.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
