We're looking for a skilled Data Architect (Azure/API/AI) to design and implement the data and integration layer for the company's new AI platform. This is a unique opportunity to build a new business unit focused on next-generation AI solutions. You will be instrumental in creating secure, scalable, and interoperable data architectures and API frameworks to support advanced AI/ML workloads across the enterprise. about the job

• Design, build, and implement enterprise-wide data and API integration frameworks specifically for AI/ML platforms within hybrid cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on Azure and on-premise systems.
• Develop secure, reusable API interfaces (REST, GraphQL) and data pipelines (batch or streaming) to ensure seamless interoperability between internal systems and AI services.
• Work with various teams to define and deliver scalable, end-to-end data flows across operational, analytical, and AI systems.
• Implement and maintain integration middleware and tooling, including Azure ML, Databricks, and Kafka, to support data orchestration and reliability.
• Design data access strategies for LLMs and agent-based workflows to provide context-rich, real-time connectivity to enterprise systems.
• Ensure all integration designs align with compliance, privacy, and security policies, such as PDPA and data classification.

skills and experience required
Hands on experience in data architecture, system, and API integration engineering.

Proven experience in designing and implementing data integration frameworks across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.

Strong knowledge of data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, and data lakehouse architectures.

Proficiency with modern data orchestration and middleware tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Apache Kafka.

Demonstrated experience integrating data systems with AI/ML workflows, including enabling context-aware access for LLMs.
