Data and Artificial Intelligence Scientist

Job Description

We are seeking a Data and Artificial Intelligence Scientist to design, develop, and deploy scalable data and AI solutions that address real-world business and industry challenges. The successful candidate will work closely with product owners, software engineers, and industry stakeholders to build AI-driven applications, evaluate emerging technologies, and deliver production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions for business and industry applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, prototyping, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Conduct technical assessments of emerging AI technologies, tools, and research to determine their suitability for practical implementation.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native applications and microservices-based solutions.
• Build, evaluate, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models for production environments.
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, AI agents, and vector/graph database solutions.
• Develop software components following secure software development practices and agile methodologies.
• Ensure AI solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements, including scalability, security, transparency, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
• Prepare technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within project teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence concepts.
• Experience developing and deploying AI applications in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ programming.
• Experience with data analysis, data visualization, and machine learning libraries.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI application development.
• Experience developing AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, and working with vector or graph databases.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles, APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and modern software deployment practices.
• Experience with 3D geometry, vector mathematics, coordinate systems, and computational geometry will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with 3D modelling/CAD tools or related libraries such as Blender, OpenGL, CGAL, or Three.js will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Experience Required

• Seniority and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
