Role Overview

Vertical Institute is seeking an experienced Data Analytics & Data Science Trainer to deliver engaging, industry-relevant training programmes for adult learners and professionals.

The trainer will conduct courses in areas such as:

• Advanced Data Science

• Data Analytics using Power BI

• Mastering Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

• Carbon Reporting & Greenhouse Gas Measurement

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training to adult learners in classroom or online settings

• Facilitate practical, hands-on learning using real-world datasets and case studies

• Adapt training delivery to suit learners with varying levels of technical proficiency

• Support learners in completing exercises, projects, and assessments

• Ensure training delivery meets SSG/WSQ standards and adult learning best practices

• Work with the curriculum team to provide feedback for course improvement

Requirements

• ACTA / ACLP certification (or equivalent adult education certification)

• Strong industry experience in data analytics, data science, or business intelligence

• Proficiency in tools such as:
  
  Power BI
  Python / R
  SQL
  Google Analytics

• Prior experience delivering corporate or professional training preferred

• Strong communication and facilitation skill

• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for adult learners

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering SkillsFuture-funded training

• Experience working with mid-career professionals

• Prior teaching or lecturing experience

Engagement Arrangement

Trainers may be engaged on a contract or adjunct basis and may deliver one or multiple courses depending on their expertise and availability.
