Job responsibilities
Data Cleaning & Transformation
- Consolidate and clean data from multiple source systems to ensure accuracy and consistency for financial reporting
- Develop scalable and repeatable data preparation workflows using Power Query, Power Automate, Microsoft Fabric etc.
- Support the migration of excel spreadsheet-based processes to structured data pipelines
Report Automation & Process Improvement
- Design, build, and implement automated reporting solutions
- Develop and improve Power Query workflows for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
- Document all automated processes to ensure continuity and knowledge transfer
Power BI Dashboard Development
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
- Build and maintain data models, calculated measures (DAX), and KPI frameworks aligned to business objectives
- Collaborate with the Finance team to translate business requirements into clear, actionable visual outputs
Financial Modelling & Analysis
- Support the development of robust financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages
- Support ad hoc analytical requests

Technical Competencies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas
- Strong working knowledge of Power Query (M language) and Microsoft Fabric
- Demonstrated experience building Power BI dashboards, including data modelling and DAX measures
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Power Automate, VBA macros
- Experience with Python/ SQL or database querying is desirable but not mandatory
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in a finance, data, or analytical role
- Prior experience within the education sector is an advantage but not a prerequisite
