Job Description
Prime Brokerage Revenue & Exposure Monitoring
- Monitor daily revenue and exposure across all Prime products: CFD, Equity Swap, SBL, Margin Financing, Cash Equities, Custody.
- Track financing spreads, borrow cost, margin utilisation, and client profitability.
Investigative Review & Identification of Deviations
- Perform ongoing reviews of client activity, margin usage, turnover, and exposure movements.
- Identify irregular patterns such as unexpected MTM shifts, unusual leverage changes, or unexpected borrow/financing movements.
- Escalate material deviations and provide clear summaries for follow-up.
Client Behaviour and Insights
- Analyse client trading behaviour, holding profiles, concentration risks, liquidity usage, and margin consumption across all Prime products.
- Identify drivers behind client performance, exposure swings, and product utilisation trends.
- Support optimisation of funding usage, borrow spreads, capital utilisation, and product contribution to improve overall profitability.
- Provide structured insights to Product and, Finance
Management Reporting & Business Insights
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly Prime Brokerage performance reports.
- Consolidate KPIs including utilisation, spreads, exposure changes, and product-level contribution.
- Produce presentation materials for management and business reviews.
Dashboard & Data Product Development
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards covering:
- Product-level revenue
- Margin & exposure analytics
- Funding balances & financing trends
- Improve automation to strengthen visibility for business and control functions.
- Support regulatory reporting
Product & Process Support
- Participate in UAT cycles, system enhancements, product changes and Prime-related initiatives.
- Work closely with Finance and Product Management.
- Ad Hoc Analysis & Senior Stakeholder Support
Requirements
- Minimum 24 years in Prime Brokerage, Equity Finance, Delta-One, or Securities Lending.
- Familiarity with the full suite of Prime products, CFDs, Equity Swaps, SBL, Margin Financing, Cash Equities, Custody & Global Execution.
- Strong understanding of financing economics, margining, P&L drivers, and borrow mechanics.
- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong SQL proficiency
- Power BI
- Understanding of ETL, data architecture, and data security
