Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with strong exposure to AI Standard Products to support data-driven decision-making across government or public sector initiatives. The role involves translating complex datasets into actionable insights, supporting AI-enabled products, and ensuring compliance with Singapore Government data, AI, and governance standards.
The ideal candidate will have 35 years of experience working with analytics and data platforms in regulated environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, AI engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver analytics solutions aligned with data and AI governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to generate insights that support business, policy, and operational decision-making.
- Support the implementation, adoption, and performance monitoring of AI Standard Products such as analytics platforms, ML/AI solutions, and decision-support tools.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with product managers, AI engineers, and business users to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Conduct data validation, quality checks, and data integrity assessments across multiple data sources.
- Support AI model monitoring by analyzing model outputs, performance metrics, bias indicators, and drift trends where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Government data governance, AI governance, and security standards.
- Document data definitions, business rules, and analytical methodologies to support audit requirements and knowledge transfer.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics processes, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 35 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related roles.
- Experience working with AI/ML platforms or AI-enabled analytics products.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and data analysis techniques.
- Experience analyzing large and complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Knowledge of data governance, AI governance, and security practices, preferably within government or regulated sectors.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting public sector or government digital transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with AI model monitoring, bias detection, and model performance evaluation.
- Knowledge of data platforms, cloud analytics environments, or ML workflows.
