Your role
As a Data Analyst, Migration Project (Banking Industry), you are part of a multidisciplinary team on challenging assignments within a wide range of clients in the financial services sectors. As a team you deliver complex projects that transform the way business is being done.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Oversee the transition of data profiling activities from external vendors, ensuring continuity in data discovery and refinement.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve critical data issues to ensure accuracy and integrity in migrated data.
- Review, update, and optimize data mapping, standardization, and transformation rules to maintain consistency across systems.
- Maintain version control and mapping checklists to track and verify migration accuracy.
- Collaborate with IT teams to prepare data and test cases for mock migrations, dry runs, and final migrations.
- Develop and manage dashboards to report project health, migration status, and performance metrics.
- Support data reconciliation and validation efforts post-migration to ensure successful data transfer.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Data Business Analyst, including hands-on experience with data profiling and mapping.
- At least 5-8 years of experience in the banking industry.
- Understanding of CLM domain is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) for reporting and documentation.
