We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Data Analyst to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Assist in gathering, cleaning, and organizing data from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Data Analysis: Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will support business decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports and dashboards to track key business metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Data Visualization: Create visualizations (charts, graphs, tables) to present data findings in a clear and easily understandable manner using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Support Senior Analysts: Work closely with senior data analysts and business teams to support ongoing data analysis projects and contribute to ad hoc analysis requests.
- SQL Queries: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with various departments (e.g., marketing, sales, finance) to understand their data needs and provide data-driven insights to help achieve business goals.
- Data Integrity: Ensure that data quality is maintained by checking for errors or inconsistencies, and implement processes to improve data integrity.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics and reporting.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in data analysis and the ability to work with large datasets.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas), Power BI, or Tableau.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for querying databases and extracting data.
- Understanding of statistical methods and techniques.
- Ability to communicate technical data findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some experience (internships or academic projects) in data analysis or a related field is a plus.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and visualization.
- Familiarity with data management tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM software, or ERP systems) is a bonus.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts is an advantage but not required.
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik is desirable.
