Job Description

Job Descriptions:

Data Analytics & Business Reporting

  • Utilize data from the data warehouse to perform data querying, validation, comparison, and statistical analysis to support business units and management decision-making.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain Tableau dashboards for operational monitoring, product performance tracking, and customer analytics.
  • Produce regular business and management reports (daily/weekly/monthly), including KPI tracking, customer statistics, operational performance, and IT metrics.
  • Provide adhoc analysis based on business or management requests, such as trend analysis, business performance evaluation, or anomaly identification.

Banking Operations Data Support

  • Possess understanding of core banking processes (e.g., deposits, loans, digital banking, operations workflows) and interpret data with business relevance.
  • Collaborate with Business, Operations, Risk Management, Finance, and IT teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Support evaluation of new product initiatives or process improvements through data analysis.

Data Governance & Quality Assurance

  • Act as a data warehouse business user responsible for verifying data accuracy, performing cross-checks, and handling data-related inquiries.
  • Maintain documentation of report logic, data definitions, and calculation rules in accordance with internal control and data governance standards.
  • Conduct periodic validation to ensure reporting accuracy and alignment with banking policies.

Cross Department & Head Office Collaboration

  • Work with Head Office IT/Data teams on cross-border reporting logic alignment, data clarification, and analytics-related projects.
  • Participate in reporting enhancement initiatives, dashboard automation, and data-driven process improvement activities.
  • Present analytical findings clearly to business stakeholders and management.

Regulatory / Audit Support

  • Provide data support for both internal and external audits when required.
  • Understand or be willing to learn banking regulatory guidelines (MAS Notices, TRMG) related to data, reporting, and information governance.

IT Support

  • Assist in providing basic IT support, including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and related hardware.
  • Provide support in IT-related projects and activities as assigned to ensure smooth execution and timely completion.

Job Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years relevant working experience
  • Field of study in Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau, capable of independently building dashboards.
  • Banking industry experience, with understanding of banking products, workflows, or financial data.
  • Ability to work with data warehouse datasets, including strong SQL skills and business-oriented data interpretation.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive in communication, coordination, and follow-up across departments and subsidiaries.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin, as reporting and communication with Singapore Branch and Taiwan Head Office will be required.
