Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at Circular Unite, you will play a central role in sustainability data collection, analysis, and reporting, working closely with our business development, operations, and client teams.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Sustainability Data Management & Reporting
    • Collect, verify, and analyze sustainability data from clients and partners.
    • Develop and maintain Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting structures aligned with established frameworks.
    • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency through robust verification processes.
  • Platform & Tools Management
    • Support the development, setup, and maintenance of Circular Unite's proprietary sustainability data platform.
    • Contribute to improvements and innovations in data management systems.
  • Data Analysis & Insights
    • Analyze sustainability metrics to identify trends, track progress, and highlight opportunities for waste reduction and efficiency improvements.
    • Provide actionable insights that support clients in achieving their sustainability goals.
  • Collaboration, Communication & Training
    • Partner with business development, operations, and client sustainability teams to communicate program outcomes effectively.
    • Assist in training and educating stakeholders on data collection methods, sustainability reporting, and best practices.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management, Data/Computer Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related analytics field.
  • Experience in data collection, validation, and analysis.
  • Previous exposure to sustainability or ESG-related data (preferred but not required).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially with large datasets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (macros knowledge is a plus).
  • Familiarity with Measurement & Verification (M&V) standards (advantageous).
