Job description:

The vision of Client's data team is to Provide an enterprise data lake for all Client's product, operational and analytics needs at lower cost and better quality. Our team ingests and integrates diverse data sources, constructs data warehouses, and crafts data visualizations to drive business insights. We collaborate with stakeholders to address their data needs, supporting daily operations and decision-making.

The Client's Data Engineering team is seeking a highly motivated business analyst based in Singapore to bridge business needs and data solutions across functional stakeholders.

As a Data Analyst you will analyse complex Client's datasets, diagnose data quality issues, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and deliver actionable BI dashboards and reports. You will work closely with business teams, operations, product, and engineering teams to improve data reliability and enable insight-driven decisions.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Analyse complex Client's datasets to provide insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs.
• Deliver actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analysis processes.
• Present findings to business stakeholder and leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement in data analysis practices.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor/master's degree in computer science/engineering/Math/Statistics or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in data / business analyst or related roles.
• Expertise in SQL and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with payment and fintech industry.
• Proficient in English is must, Chinese will be a great plus.
• Innovative, creative, and good learning capability, willingness to take initiatives and go beyond.
• Strong collaboration skillsets.
• Experience with big data & cloud technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Big query).
• Experience with programming languages like Python or JAVA.
