Data Analyst (10 month contract)

The Company

We are supporting a Financial Services organisation in hiring a Contract Data Analyst to support reporting, insights, and operational analytics initiatives within a regulated environment. The role will work closely with technology, risk, and business teams to extract, analyse, and visualise data, with a strong focus on Power BI dashboards and data sourced from platforms such as ServiceNow.

The Role

• Analyse, validate, and translate business and operational data into meaningful insights and reports
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models for management and stakeholder consumption
• Extract and work with data from ServiceNow and other enterprise systems
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity
• Collaborate with business, technology, and risk teams to understand reporting and analytics requirements
• Support ongoing reporting, ad‑hoc analysis, and data enhancement initiatives
• Ensure data outputs align with internal governance, controls, and Financial Services standards

• Document data definitions, logic, and reporting processes where required

Your Profile:

• Experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within Financial Services or a regulated environment
• Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and data modelling
• Practical exposure to ServiceNow data, reporting, or integrations
• Solid understanding of data analysis, reporting, and basic ETL concepts
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and consistency
• Ability to work with both technical teams and non‑technical business stakeholders

• Comfortable working in a contract, delivery‑focused environment
